A fuel spill at South Jackson Street and West Sixth Street required response from both fire and law enforcement after a truck leaked fuel into a traffic lane early in the morning.

Criminal Complaints and Welfare Concerns

A suspicious person call came in from Snap Fitness in the 200 block of East Third Street, where a male in a van with large painted letters had been observed watching someone do laundry for two to three hours.

A controlled substance problem was reported at an apartment building in the 2200 block of White Avenue, where marijuana odor had been occurring sporadically almost daily for approximately two weeks.

Other Calls

Officers responded to a VIN inspection request and closed a found property report after items were turned in at the University Car Wash in the 1300 block of West Pullman Road.

A person brought a complaint to the Moscow Police Department stating that officers were refusing to return their property. Officers provided advice and closed the matter without filing a formal report.

Animal Control responded to a call regarding a dog that had been hit by a vehicle in the 200 block of North Monroe Street. The dog was bleeding and running, and attempted to bite the reporting party. Animal Control made contact with the dog’s owner.

Multiple suspicious person calls came in from various locations throughout the day but resulted in no formal reports.
