Approximately 201 Avista electric customers in Moscow will experience a planned power outage Wednesday, July 22, beginning at 7:00 a.m. and expected to conclude at 1:00 p.m.
The outage affects service areas along North Mountain View Road from just north of the Aquatics Center to the end of Slonaker Drive, and extends east on Ponderosa Street to Mountain View Park. Customers on East F Street and those using the Aquatics Center will not be impacted.
Avista contractor crews will use the six-hour window to relocate overhead utility lines as part of broader infrastructure improvements to North Mountain View Road. The project aims to enhance both road access and pedestrian safety in the corridor.
Motorists should expect traffic control measures in place during the work period. Residents and business operators in the affected area are advised to prepare accordingly, as the outage will temporarily interrupt electric service to the specified zone.
