Idaho Counties Begin Early Voting Ahead of Nov. 3 Election

Early in-person voting for the November 3 general election has commenced in select Idaho counties, with state law granting local jurisdictions the authority to determine their own schedules.

Twin Falls and Bannock counties opened their early voting locations on Tuesday. Voters in Ada, Bonneville, Canyon, and Kootenai counties will begin casting ballots on October 19.

The early voting period concludes across all participating Idaho counties by 5 p.m. on October 30. Residents who prefer to vote by mail must request their absentee ballots by the end of the day on October 23.

While many counties offer early in-person voting, some jurisdictions do not provide this option but instead facilitate in-person absentee voting. Idaho’s 44 counties manage these processes independently under state guidelines.
