University of Idaho Football to Air on SWX, ESPN Throughout 2026 Season

The University of Idaho Vandals football program will receive significant television exposure during the 2026 season, with regional and national broadcasters committing to cover multiple games.

SWX will air at least four Vandals contests, while ESPN will broadcast three games, including two Friday night matchups. The television schedule underscores the team’s prominence in the Big Sky Conference and reflects growing fan interest in Idaho football.

Head coach Thomas Ford Jr. recently joined quarterback Joshua Wood and linebacker Cruz Hepburn at Big Sky Kickoff Weekend, a conference event that brings together coaches, players, and media ahead of the season.

Wood, a sophomore, returns for his second year leading the Vandals offense. Hepburn, a redshirt senior, anchors the linebacker position as a veteran presence on defense. The trio’s attendance at the kickoff weekend signaled the program’s readiness heading into summer preparation.

The broadcast schedule provides Idaho fans—and viewers across the Palouse region—with convenient access to watch the Vandals compete. Friday night games on ESPN offer prime-time exposure that can boost recruitment and fan engagement.

The Vandals will begin their season this fall as they aim to build on previous campaigns and compete for a Big Sky Conference title. More details about the complete 2026 schedule and additional television arrangements are expected to be announced as the season approaches.

What Comes Next: Fans should monitor the University of Idaho athletics website for the full game schedule and broadcast times as kickoff approaches.
