The Latah County Historical Society is organizing guided walks through the Moscow Cemetery this fall. Sandra Kelly will lead the tours, which are scheduled for Sunday, October 4, and Sunday, October 18. Both events begin at 2 p.m.
Admission costs $12 for society members and $15 for nonmembers. The organization is limiting each tour to 25 participants on a first-come, first-served basis. Interested residents can purchase tickets online through the historical society’s website.
The society emphasized that these are historical tours, not ghost hunts or spooky excursions. Kelly will focus on the stories and records associated with the burial site rather than supernatural themes. The organization also noted that the content may not be suitable for young children.
Tours are subject to cancellation if weather conditions become unsafe. Participants should check for updates before heading to the cemetery.
