Idaho volleyball will play the Big Sky Conference’s two newest teams during Homecoming Week, traveling to Utah Tech on Thursday before hosting Southern Utah on Saturday.
First serve against Utah Tech is scheduled for 5 p.m. Pacific time. Utah Tech has a 15-3 overall record, an 8-0 conference mark and a 12-match winning streak. The team most recently defeated Utah Valley, 3-1, and swept Oregon State.
Idaho will host Southern Utah at 7 p.m. Saturday. The match will be part of a homecoming doubleheader, with Vandal football scheduled to host the Thunderbirds at 1 p.m. Pacific time.
Southern Utah is 1-17 overall and 0-8 in Big Sky play. The Thunderbirds have lost nine straight matches and are winless away from Cedar City. Their only victory came against Chicago State in September.
Southern Utah rejoined the Big Sky after leaving the conference in 2022. Utah Tech has competed in the conference since moving to Division I in 2019.
Idaho’s next scheduled match is at Northern Arizona on Thursday, Oct. 29.
