Moscow Rural Volunteer Firefighters arrived at the scene around 4:30 p.m. The vehicle was traveling northbound up Steakhouse Hill when it ignited. During the blaze, the motorhome rolled into an adjacent field, sparking a small grass and brush fire that required additional resources to contain.

Idaho Department of Lands firefighters were dispatched to assist local crews in extinguishing the flames. Law enforcement presence at the scene included officers from the Latah County Sheriff’s Office and Idaho State Police, who managed traffic safety while emergency personnel worked.
