Dome Adds New Digital Vandal Athletics Hall of Fame Display

MOSCOW, Idaho — The University of Idaho has added an interactive digital display to the P1FCU Kibbie Dome, giving fans a new way to explore the storied history of Vandal Athletics through a touch screen interface located on the second floor lobby of the building’s office suite.

The display runs on software developed by Rocket Alumni Solutions and allows visitors to navigate more than 130 years of University of Idaho athletic history — browsing Hall of Fame inductees, facility information, and records of national and conference champions.

A Legacy Spanning More Than a Century

The Vandal Athletics Hall of Fame was formally established in fall 2007, welcoming 102 charter members during its first two years. New members have been inducted on a biennial basis beginning in 2010, with the exception of 2020 when the COVID-19 pandemic forced a pause. The collection honors student-athletes, coaches, and administrators who shaped the program across generations.

The most recent class, inducted in 2024, included the 1988 Idaho Football Team along with individual honorees Kavita Battan (Cowan), Leilanie Kim (Rorrer), Marianna Petrei, Tara Vanderveer, Chuck White, and Patrick Williams.

The Hall of Fame Committee is currently evaluating nominees for the 2026 induction class. That class is scheduled to be formally inducted the weekend of September 12, when Idaho hosts Lamar at the Kibbie Dome.

Accessible On-Site and Online

Fans who want to experience the new display can visit the Kibbie Dome during regular hours. For those unable to make the trip to Moscow, the full Vandal Athletics Hall of Fame is also accessible through an online portal, allowing exploration from any personal device.

The addition reflects a broader effort by Idaho Athletics to modernize how the university preserves and shares its competitive heritage with fans, recruits, and the broader Vandal community.

What Comes Next

With the 2026 Hall of Fame induction weekend set for September 12, the selection committee’s review process is underway. Once the class is announced, honorees will be formally recognized during home game festivities against Lamar. Fans interested in experiencing the new touch screen display are welcome to stop by the second floor lobby of the Kibbie Dome.
